Consultation Services for the USDA Farm to School Grant Program
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farm to School Grant Program awards grants to support efforts that improve access to local foods in schools. The grant categories and award amounts vary from year to year based on the Request for Applications (RFA). Generally, these grants can be used for planning, implementation, growth, sustainability, and capacity building of farm to school and farm to ECE activities at your site or in your state.
NFSN received overwhelming interest after first offering consultation services for the FY18 Grant Program. We’re pleased to again offer these services to provide advice and support to FY19 Grant Program applicants. NFSN advocated for the establishment of the USDA Farm to School Grant Program, and is committed to ensuring this funding reaches the communities that need it most.
